May weather continues to surprise us with thunder, lightning and rain along with some wind and sunshine. This makes our meetings interesting but working in our favor by clearing just before the event.
Maryl Lee did a great job organizing the Hometown Hero event at Rotary Grove in Elk Grove Park as the weather suddenly switched to make the event a true success for all who attended. We do need to check on what is happening in Rotary Grove with CSD with the structure and electricity. This could be our next service project?
This week, May 23rd we hope to have students from Elk Grove High School Interact Club leading our last meeting at Chason’s. Bob Hoyme will provide some inspirational words for the group. Remember starting May 30th we switch to the Hilton Garden Inn for all future indoor meetings.
