What a great start to our new Rotary year!  

Debunking of President Jim Babcock on June 29th: A big thanks to Nola Grice, Linda Ferrarotti, Tommi Hall, Erika Robinson and Scott Edwards for providing outstanding entertainment and food (from Nola) at the event. 

 

July 6th meeting: Our vision of Elk Grove Rotary "Serving Humanity Locally and Globally” was emphasized by a wonderful presentation from our Foundation Committee Chairs Jean Hawkins and Melanie Webb. Our membership chair, Kelly Radabaugh, emphasized the importance of every member in our club playing a role in increasing our membership numbers.  I also want to thank Scott Edwards for providing the “wheel of fortune” as a part of our “Happy Dollar” portion of the meeting.  He has teamed up with Gary Crotwell to provide a different approach to our “Brags and Recognitions” program. 

 

Upcoming events: Volunteers are needed to cook and distribute hotdogs and sodas at the Strauss Festival on July 28th-31st. Please see Roy Joerger to sign up.
