Thank you to Mark and Beth Hedlund for speaking at our club last week regarding “Uplift”, a new program with a goal of breaking the cycle of generational poverty.  More information can be found below.

 

2,000 hotdogs distributed at the end of the Veteran’s Day Parade!  Thanks to Bob Hoyme and Roy Joerger for preparing the snack wagon for distribution of 2,000 hotdogs at the Elk Grove Veteran’s Day Parade.  Rotarians, students from  our Interact Clubs at Elk Grove High and Pleasant Grove High and our mentees and mentors did an excellent job of thanking our veterans and parade participants with free “dogs”, soda/water and chips. 

 

Speakers this week are from Inner Wheel:  Maryl Lee Babcock will be one of the speakers this week that will provide us with information regarding projects from our Inner Wheel program.  Please join us this Wednesday to learn more about another phase of Rotary that is serving humanity locally and globally!
